Frequently Asked Questions

Your electronic tax receipt is sent after your items are delivered to the charity partner, usually the same day your donation is confirmed. It arrives as a link through your donation management page, where you can view, download, or print it. ReSupply is a veteran-founded service, and every document is delivered electronically.

Refer to IRS Publication 561 when filling in estimated values on your tax receipt. For anything beyond general guidance, we recommend consulting a tax advisor or certified public accountant.

Use the donation lookup tool with the email or phone number from your scheduling to have a fresh link sent to your donation management page, where your receipt is stored. You can also call us during support hours and we will resend it.

ReSupply provides a receipt for any payment made through our system, such as the booking fee, available on your donation management page. For payments processed outside our system, the pickup team’s company issues that receipt directly.

Receipts are delivered electronically so they arrive quickly and never get lost in the mail. You can print your receipt or download it to your computer from your donation management page at any time.

Mention it when you schedule, or contact us at least three business days before your pickup. Provide your building or company name, pickup date, donation ID, and a copy of the building’s COI requirements, and we will coordinate the certificate for your pickup.
